More on "The Minimalist Doula Package"

The Minimalist Package is designed for seasoned parents who have “been there, done that” and want calm, steady doula support without all the extras. This package is ideal if you already feel familiar with birth and mainly want a knowledgeable, reassuring presence to walk alongside you. It includes a free initial consultation where we talk through your hopes and needs, followed by two prenatal visits to review your birth plan options, discuss any concerns, and help you feel prepared. Throughout your pregnancy, you’ll have access to ongoing telephone, text, and email support, as well as a curated pregnancy-related resource list to support you from prenatal through postpartum, as needed.

As your birth approaches, I am on call for you from 37 weeks until the birth of your baby, providing continuous labor support from early labor through delivery. During labor, I offer comfort measures, position suggestions, emotional support, and help you communicate your preferences with your birth team. After baby arrives, we’ll have a postpartum follow-up visit to check in on how you’re adjusting, answer questions, and offer support as you settle into life with your new little one. This package is not recommended for first-time parents, as it is streamlined for those who already have some experience with birth and postpartum. A travel fee may be added for births more than 35 miles from my home base, at my discretion, depending on distance and time.
